Good day.

I want to start a youtube channel. I have some questions.

1. What are the softwares that I need?
2. Do I need also to make a keyword research?
3. Can I have various contents ( travelling, cooking, etc) or do I need to choose a particular content.

Thank you.

You might not need any software at all, but that depends
on what types of videos you intend to produce. If you are
going to make animations, for example, then you need a
way to do that and you need to make that determination.

Your topics can be about whatever you want, as long as
you comply with YouTube terms and conditions.

A more relevant question is what is the purpose of your
videos and what are you trying to achieve. If you want
to make money, then you need to have some sort of a
plan or a general idea before you begin.

If you don't know the answer to any of these questions
I would advise you to watch some YouTubes about this
topic, read a book, and research to educate yourself.

You can find Amazon eBooks about YouTube marketing
    for 99ยข or even free.

Another thing I recommend is to use ChatGPT. It can
answer some of your startup questions and help you
    develop your business strategy.

If you are going to make videos and decide to edit them with cool features, I would download a free software called:

    Capcut.

You can download it for free and use it for free.

If you don't know how to use it once you download it, you can go to Youtube and search for CAPCUT

I am sure you will find great content on how to use this tool.

Consider DaVinci Resolve or Shotcut for editing, Canva for thumbnails, and OBS Studio for screen recording. Doing keyword research with tools like TubeBuddy or VidIQ can boost your visibility.

YouTube has a simple video editor. CapCut is a free app and can also help with editing, effects, subs, color, etc. So that is settled unless you need smth super professional. I agree that it's best to use graphic software for images, I usually use Canva.
