Hi guys, are there any AI video editor to auto-generate captions & subtitles that has a free plan that generates videos without watermarks of the software (usually free plans retain watermarks).

    You've already answered your own question.

    Free = Watermarks

    If your budget is tight, subscribe to the service that you need,
    work on however many videos you need to produce, download
    your videos and cancel the monthly subscription.

    It's not that serious.

    Search on Reddit for "Capcut Auto Captions not FREE anymore." it's an older version of CapCut that still supports auto captions.

    When you have a budget though, Adobe Premiere or DaVinci are unbeatable.

    Yeah, it's tough finding free AI video editors without watermarks. Most of them just slap a logo on your videos. The month-to-month subscription idea is pretty clever if you're just cranking out a few projects. Also, if you dig a bit, CapCut's older version could work for those auto captions.

    There comes a time for everyone starting out when they need to put their hand in their pocket and pull out the wallet.

    If the project that requires these videos is lucrative, the cost of a subscription to something that creates them will be negligible.
