Good morning, everyone. I am relatively new to this forum but not to digital marketing. I have been working in digital advertising since 2020. Recently, I was introduced to Web3 advertising, and it feels like a whole new world to me. I'm here to learn how the worlds of Web3 and Web2 digital marketing align and how I can improve my skills and strategies in Web3 marketing. But first, I want to say 'hello' to everyone. I hope we have a great time together. Have a nice day!

First off welcome to the Warrior Forum! Make sure you read and understand the rules located here - https://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...uncements.html

The Warrior Forum has a lot of good information if you view the various sub-fourms. However, Web3 discussions are rare here. Since too many try to promote instead of contribute here. This has led to their removal from the forum.

Of course, let's explain first what is web2 advertising: the advertising that we see today--big companies like Google and Facebook collect your data to show you ads. For example, if you search for shoes, you'll start seeing shoe ads everywhere. You don't control your data, and these companies make money from it.

Web3 advertising is different. It uses blockchain, meaning you own your data. For example, if a company wants to show you ads, they ask for permission, and you can even get rewards (like tokens) for watching them. It's more private, and you're in control.

So the advertisement strategy is also different. Like marketers in Web3 focus on community engagement, airdrops, NFT giveaways, and reward-based models. Instead of tracking users secretly, they ask for permission and offer incentives to interact with their brand. For example, the Brave browser, which rewards users with BAT tokens for viewing ads, or like EtherMail, lets users receive rewarded emails from advertisers while protecting their privacy.
