My big, no MASSIVE idea

I am thinking about creating a blog on mental health and crochet. The whole idea is under development in my little head. I am investigating having a story included, with regular updates in a sequel format. Has anyone else tried this? The idea is to encourage readers to return, the whole thing is still being created, but any help would be gratefully received.

    That's great, but how are you going to make money with this?

    Unless you are a mental health professional, you probably should
    not blog about this topic.

    Crochet might be a good topic, but again, you need to figure out
    how you are going to monetize it.

    Otherwise, you are just going to be blogging, wasting your time,
    and not making any money.

    If you don't need money, that's wonderful.

    Are you a mental health professional currently practicing? If so, are you doing this as part of your client marketing efforts or just to help folks as a hobby by tying the two together?

    Sounds like you need https://buildit.sitesell.com/ , (no affiliate link but a member with no financial incentives) they deal with what you are developing and even thought there are no guarantees, (l spent years on my site and it bombed financially) it sounds like a good fit for your idea.

    If you're not a mental health professional, you could get away with it if you're covering your own experience with mental health issues or a relatives... Or if you're a volunteer and all your blogging is from the point of view of a volunteer. You'll probably still have issues ranking in Google as they seem to prefer professionals over others.

      Crochet would be ideal for you bc you can create your own unique
      knots and stitches as you go along.

      The crochet hook is ambidextrous, so you could use your left or
      right hand, you can even switch in the middle which makes it fun.

      Plus you can use different colors of yarn and combine multiple
      colors at once.

    The world will definitely be a better place for more crochet and mental health content! Do you have any unique things you like to crochet? That can drive interest - like the person who did all those frod and toad crochet animations! People like out-of-the-box interests if you have them - makes you relatable and safe.

    Well this will work but to have succes you realy need great and quality content because you will compete with so much profesional people in this niche
    And if you dont have realy great content people will not stay on your site
