In this case, digital marketing is using various methods
to promote products, methods such as creating content,
running ads, sending emails, producing videos, etc.

So digital and affiliate marketing can be related, but they
    are not the same thing.

They might sell different info products but if you ask me the concepts are the same .If there's atleast 1 thing they have in common that is the fact that their consumers want solutions .

That's an important distinction! While both operate in the online space, digital marketers and affiliates have fundamentally different roles, responsibilities, and business models.
    Example:
A digital marketer for Nike runs Instagram ads targeting runners, optimizes Nike.com for "running shoes" SEO, and analyzes sales data from email campaigns.
And for a affiliate,A tech YouTuber links to a camera in their video description. If viewers buy it, the camera brand pays them 8% commission

Yes, they're different, but they can overlap.
A digital marketer focuses on promoting a product, service, or brand using online channels like social media, SEO, email, and paid ads. They might work for a company, agency, or as a freelancer, and They focus on boosting brand awareness, bringing in traffic, and turning it into leads or sales.
An affiliate markets a company's product or service and earns a commission for each sale or lead generated. They don't own the product--they simply market it through blogs, ads, social media, or other channels.
    In short:
Digital marketer = broad role, can promote any product (their own or others).
Affiliate = focuses on earning commissions by promoting other people's products.
Some affiliates use digital marketing skills to succeed, so the two often go hand in hand.

Yes, a digital marketer promotes products through various online strategies, while an affiliate specifically earns commissions by promoting others' products. Affiliate marketing is a subset of digital marketing overall.
