It's pretty simple: reply to posts that you can answer without using AI or copying information off the internet. Don't spam the forum with outbound links or self-promote. It's basically a discussion forum where people talk about the issues they have with marketing.

So, to start, tell us a little about yourself, what interests you in Internet Marketing? Do you have any marketing experience?

I'm not sure if this forum is the best place to answer these questions. Opening a paypal account is as simple as going to the paypal website. For registering your business, you will need to confirm the requirements on your specific location.

IMO this forum is best to review/ask questions on various times of online/affiliate marketing. This will help get the best results.

  • Deal is same as always.

Ask the right qwestyins, you might git the right ansas.

Ain't guaranteed, but it is less hopelessah than quandryin' around in a void.

Which I guess means gettin' real spussific 'bout stuff.

Like AntsyAntAnt the Anteatah said, "the frick nowan offrin' the anteatah equivalent of BOTOX for my nostriculah suckup cuppacity?"

Yeah, but we would naht wish evah to abuse no intrinsickly successful mammals c/o our misanthromorphic schwango.

    My view?

    Leave 'em alone.

They jus' wanna suck on ants.

Gotta figure the WhaWeFor Forum gaht a more slecktive hordience.

    How to use this forum?
    For any poster:

1 - Get clear on the question(s) you're asking. Be specific. Do not ask "How do I make money?" or other magic questions. You may have to browse or use the Search feature to find basic information about your subject. I have personally posted over and over again about what the basics are, as have others like GordonJ.

From there, you will need to PICK SOMETHING (I stress this because many people never do, and orbit in a loop of doing nothing and waiting for The Secrets To The Universe to be dropped into their lap. Once you pick something, you work with it a bit. Work with SEO. Or work with PPC. Or work with Web Design. Or work with Blog Articles. Or work with something else related to internet marketing.

There is not One Right Way. Many ways to success are available, and like learning a trade like plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC, you must learn something. Anyone promising you can't-lose "Click here, do this" moneymaking methods is not telling you the truth. Every person must find their own way, even if you are given a workable plan by someone who has been successful with that approach. Or, in other words, the map is not the territory. You must walk through the swamp.

2 - With a little experience, it will become quite clear where your next area of inquiry is. What have you noticed you know nothing or not enough about, that you would like more clarity or feedback on? Just one of these is sufficient:

Have you written some SEO articles and after a few months seen what happened?

Have you run a few low budget campaigns, and discovered things about Google's dashboard you want to know more about?

Have you designed some websites, coding on your own or through a platform like Squarespace, and now have deeper questions about design or functionality or effective placement of certain items?

Have you written some blog articles and now have a blog and some feedback about how much traffic it draws, and want some tips for improvement?

Or have you learned a bit about something else, and want to know more about that, and are able to articulate specific questions about it?

3 - The forum gets far less traffic than it used to, particularly a decade ago. The basics of business have not changed--technical things have changed, but how and why people make decisions and buy certainly have not--so many older threads are still goldmines of valuable information.

So you must learn Discernment if you want to get the most out of this forum. As you use the Search feature and check out the answers from when the forum was more active, you will see the same user names again and again. Start to note who resonates with you. Who gives good advice. With the Search feature you can get quite detailed...down to the subforum, the name of the poster, specific keywords, and so on.

An incredibly astonishing (to me) number of people miss the existence of the subforums beyond the Main forum and the Beginner forum. The Offline and Copywriting subforums had many good contributing members. A handful are still there, hoping someone will come in and ask a good question.

Search the forum for information on how internet marketing works and what the approaches to doing it are. Figure out what you want to do in internet marketing, get some experience with that, then come back with good questions.
