Can a few backlinks help a page get picked up by Google early?

I've been noticing that some pages seem to get crawled or even get a bit of visibility before they actually rank for anything.

Makes me wonder if a small number of backlinks can trigger that initial discovery phase.

    Yes it can help but you need to create a do-follow backlink from the similar niche site it will get indexed within day or 2 and you will see a boost in organic ranking.

      I've noticed relevance helps more with discovery speed than raw link quantity. Some pages get crawled faster even from a couple of contextual mentions.
