Why you should not sell $7 products anymore!

How much you are going to pay for a product from a marketer who’s selling $7 products? Is it $97?

I think no.

And how much are you going to pay for a product from a marketer who’s normally selling $97 products?

Well, in most cases up to 97 dollars.

So this is why most marketers can’t scale their business.

Their subscribers will buy from them, but only if their products are priced around 10 bucks.

That’s what they have been selling for years and it’s really difficult to change that until you start all over again.

But there is a way to keep selling your $7 products and overcome this problem. It’s called “The reverse funnel”.

What is the reverse funnel?

The reverse funnel strategy is simply a reverse sales funnel, instead of starting with your cheapest product, you start with your most expensive one.

What that means is that you will firstly sell your $997 coaching program, then you will sell your $497 coaching program, then you will sell your $197 video course, then you will sell your $27 eBook and so on.

What’s the idea behind the reverse funnel?

The idea of the reverse funnel is to present to your potential customers your highest valuable product first, so they can remember you as someone selling expensive, quality products and someone who’s coaching in the industry.

For example, if your first product people see costs $497, then once you launch a product that costs $97 it will become a no brainer for your subscribers and visitors and you conversion rate will be much higher.

Why? – Because you’re priced at the $497 mark. They are ready to pay for your products up to $497.

And a product that costs less will be a no brainer for them.

How to implement it?

The reverse funnel can’t be implemented for a normal sales process and the reason for that is because at your front end, if the product is priced at $997 a really small percentage of your visitors will buy that product.

You should implement it in an email campaign.

You direct visitors to a free offer and once you capture their email address you start the reverse funnel. Because otherwise a big percentage of your traffic will see the $997 priced product and will leave your sales page.

The best way I have found it can work, is by offering a free video course for an exchange of an email address, then offering your top level coaching program and then the rest of your products from the most expensive one, to the cheapest one.

Then, if someone buys some of the products you should immediately get him out of the reverse funnel because you don’t want to promote a product that costs $97 to someone who has bought a $497 from you, right?

The idea of the reverse funnel is the following, if you ask someone of your subscribers how much he or she is ready to pay for a product from you, then the answer should be the highest price point possible.

Because if you are familiar for selling $7 products, then people will be ready to pay around that amount of money for your products!
