Goals for bloggers

Goals are like map while hitting the unfamiliar road. They direct you to your destination.

I have a vision and I approach it step by step using shor-term goals. When I meet one goal, I set another reasonable goal I can achieve, IF I work hard. This allows me to visualize exactly where I want to go and I focus on getting there. As I reach those goals, I gain more confidence and motivation to move forward. When i’m stuck, I don’t hesitate to ask for help.

I decided to jump in with a Cookin' Kids article before I do the 3rd in the series for IM Focused. I don't want EZA to post all 3 at once.

So this one is called "Edited - Putting the title here was causing this post here to show up on the first page of Google. It was a kids article" Two keywords in one title. From past experience I know that any article with "edit" in it will get pasted on quite a few mom/family/food blogs and websites.

China buys online

Around 24 million Chinese people are now using online payment processing (this represents almost 22.5% of the population), and online banking is used by over 23%. These figures reflect a 71.7% growth in the 12 months to June 2008.

Online education in China is used by 46.69 million people. The Chinese are looking to access online resources to improve themselves – information marketers take note!

LiveSearch: Desperate for Attention?

Microsoft has unveiled yet another tactic to try and get web surfers to use LiveSearch. Today, comes word that they are launching SearchPerks.

Microsoft’s latest strategy gives web searchers points when they use LiveSearch, which can be redeemed for prizes. Users who sign-up before the December 31 deadline, must agree to download a small program that tracks their usage. Once installed, the users will get one “ticket” per day for every LiveSearch query.
