It's nothing new in the marketing game of course. And it's remarkable how easy it is to position yourself as the obvious expert in a market; you just need to know something your target market doesn't, and not be shy about sharing.

Or better yet, borrow the credibility of an already-established expert in the field.

A dear friend asked me the other day what I thought about the idea of designing her own product(s) All hand sewn (well... sewing-machine) - talking about clothing here - or buying wholesale from an existing line and if one picks a line existing; how to go about it.

My friend is a great seamstress and has had great success with velvet scarves and such...anyway. I gave it some thought along with my own limited experience with retail/wholesale,...

Or rather, is your website ready? How do you know? Recently I have been researching this topic as I am feeling a bit lost at sea with all the new changes to search engines lately as well as what is coming down the pipe in the near future.

Have you heard of Universal Search? I hadn't until about 2 weeks days ago...and I like to think I'm on top of things when it comes to SEO! I was in for a rather rude wake up call; which is good...and not so good.
