Hi there, I think Google +1 can be the next rival to facebook 'like' button, but the difference is the '+1' button can do -1 , means people don't like the page.

Related to SEO, I think Google is gonna put the '+1' factor to also rate user experience in your website, the more +1 you get, it'll help you to increase your search engine ranking.
