I think that title says it all: do not use MailChimp for affiliate marketing.

You should not use MailChimp at all for any purpose, in my opinion. There are some good reasons listed here.

To summarize:

MailChimp does not allow affiliate marketing and it will ban you and delete your list without warning.

I cannot imagine using a company like that for any purpose.

It seems to me a lot of cash poor newbies are attracted to MailChimp...
