Focus: Continue Progress in 2009

Been a very powerful and life-changing 2007/2008.
Can see that I am on a different playing field (although yet to monetize the new streams or channels). My driving force remains the same: better quality of life for every member in my family. To monetize massively this year is a priority in my mind and my subconscious programming.
Forming a mastermind group of people who click well with one another was one of the pivotal points. Formulating the Code of Conduct and Honour for the mastermind group provides a focal point that each member has to bring high standards and trust to the group.
Trust has been built and developed to a much higher level over the last year. There is truth to the dynamic that there is 'Business at the Speed of Trust'. We had to 'fire' some members who were not providing the same level of commitment. We had to facilitate and follow a meeting template and agenda - this provided a structure which avoided any conflicts as the meeting moderator and facilitator has control.
Was blessed to have had the chance to be mentored by a prominent person and his COO. This after working for another successful business person (who said he would also mentor me) but nothing much came out of it. Lesson: Just because a person is successful doesn't mean they know how to mentor effectively (which brings to mind that a majority of businesses out there will definitely not be effectively planning for succession).
Many insights changed me from within and altered my mindset. My mentor made me realise as he did, that 'nobody really cares about my success' and I am the only one who must care enough to do things until I get results along the strategically thought of plans I create.
The other thing is the value of a network. Having been raised with the 'I have to be able to do everything myself' -- no more lone ranger and it is working! Continue to form authentic friendships and alliances. This is important when it comes to getting "Speed to Market". It doesn't matter how good your product is if you don't have a strategically integrated plan of action engineered and from which your alliance members commit to rolling out together.
I'm looking to monetize more on online endeavours. It's interesting how I can conduct a thorough and comprehensive 'Business Matrix Diagnosis' for business owners and yet feel out of sorts online. There's huge leverage to be gained online which we cannot duplicate offline.
Amongst my consult clients, there are also those which have had me facilitate strategic alliances.
Clients are the best when they dare to pursue their grand visions. My clients who take that title in 2008 are:
These clients where the MOU signed in August:

And finally the first milestone reached on Monday 17/12/2008.
A Memorandum of Agreement signed for the planting of crops for
biofuels.
An agreement also signed with oil expelling technology partner for
processing of crude jatropha oils.
Jatropha is a crop that grows well in the tropics and its oils after
expelled is over 90% identical to that of diesel and it has the added
very important quality of being 'wintergrade biofuel'.
We intend to guide the smallholders on an integrated farming model
which ensures a sustainable and balanced utilization of their native
lands. They just provide the land and labour. My client company provides
all planting materials, technical advise, training, plantation management
and a buyback agreement. I'm pushing for a profit-share also for them
on the downstream products and hopefully will get that.
MOUs signed for funding and for a biodiesel refinery.

More work begins on project planning, execution, implementation and
management. (I will be adding TOC to my thinking and planning process.
Not related to online but it's a very useful tool).
I noticed that a lot of members here are interested in consulting as well. I wouldn't say I am organised enough to teach them but I'm sure my experience and insights would help a lot of them looking to go into this field. Thinking of a progressive equity share and JV model as I provide guidance on my methods and approaches with grounding materials. Should be for newbies and experienced members to accelerate and collaborate.
On Subconscious Programming: There isn't a logical way to explain how the people, the resources and the opportunities came to my lifesphere. There is something to this dynamic. Although some successful people pooh-pooh this concept (for fear that people misunderstand it to mean that all one needs to do is to sit in a room and create visions without the need to get off their butt and take action) I believe there is something to it and I really have to combine it with blood, sweat and tears.
I've joined to War Room here. Looks very interesting and unlike any other forums. This should be a must-join forum for 2009.
Our mastermind has a theme this year. It's to 'Obliterate NATO' (No Action, Talk Only). Action is where the difference is. It's the not-so-secret secret.
