Hi, Anthony Manly here with Wordpress Blog tips.
If you read most of the varied posts across the web about which WordPress plugins to add to your blog you get varied opinions. My suggestion to you is to stop loading up on plugins. Plugins drag down load times and with a slow site load time your bounce rate will increase.

Here is a list of the 11 plug-ins you should install on every WordPress installation:

1. Akismet
Filters comment spam.
Already installed by default but you will need to activate it.
2. WordPress SEO by Yoast
One of the better plugins to add Search Engine Optimization (SEO) functionality.
3. Digg Digg
One of the plugins to add social media sharing functionality (there are others however we have had good success)
4. WP Backup Plus
Automatic Backup for all sites
5. Contact Form 7
Plugin to add a contact form on your Contact Us page
6. WP Super Cache
helps speed up site load times
7. Title Split Testing
This plugin helps you learn what titles are working the best on your blog.
8. Google XML Sitemaps
generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask.com to index your blog
9. Google Analytics
keep an eye on your traffic
10. Pretty Link Lite
Shrink, track and share any URL on the Internet from your WordPress website.
11. Click to Tweet
Add click to tweet boxes to your WordPress posts

If you install these plugins you will be in a better position than most other Wordpress site owners.

thanks

Anthony Manly
