Alliance income
In a sense, alliance income could come to you as indirect revenue. What I mean is you can offset certain expenses involved in setting up your website by asking a company to help you in exchange for free advertising.
Instead of paying a couple of hundred dollars to a graphic designer or to a Coldfusion programmer, for example, you might be able to get them to finish their work and let you use it on your website because you allow them to have your "Platinum Ad Package" for free during the next 60 days. That way you save money on setup costs, and they get free advertisements all over your website. The agreement is not unfair if you remember that same ad spot could be earning you hundreds of dollars a month from paid advertisers you personally seek out.
I'm sure there are other alliances you can make to earn additional income, even if it comes to you indirectly. It just takes a bit of creativity, kind of like the bartering system. Please let me know your feedback by using the comment section below. Next in the miniseries we will talk about membership and subscription income.

Hi grangonzo, a good place to start is with your friends. But if you're confident and are able to generate some good exposure, I'm sure this method would appeal to small businesses and other companies.Posted 5th November 2008 at 12:07 PM by awesometbn
