Focus on 1 niche or more?

Hi,
Imposing ourselves to 1 niche alone is self-exile from more opportunities.
What we need to do is focus on 1 niche, implement all the strategies and move on to another.
While doing work on the new niche, track performance of the previous niche. Do improvements and move on.
If we believe in focused effort on one niche alone, then expand that into several subniches. Treat each subniche with its very own strategies like a stand alone niche.
For example. If our niche is photography, then related subniches would be underwater, wild-life, events, sports, wedding, child, city life, indoor, travel, investigative, night, forensic, journalistic, magazine, studio, modelling, product photography and etc.
Each subniche has its own set of info such as style, tools, equipment, service, camera, filter, lighting, lenses, speed, skills, training schools, experience, samples, editing, software, best methods, angles, career, audience, enthusiasts, forums, associations, exhibitions, displays, awards, stock photo and much more.
Imagine the opportunities from each subniche alone.
And you can drill-down further each subniche into several micro-niches for more opportunities.
Otherwise life would be boring and limited.
