Work on a Membership Site (My Discovery)
Posted 6th June 2010 at 10:51 AM by Charles Harper
In working on a membership site, I have discovered that what seems to be the easy path is not necessarily so. I decided to do Rapid Action Profits because the graphics and interface made it look easier and less tedious. As it turned out it was no less complicated than Amember.
So, in essence, I am working with AMember and Wordpress which I originally backed off because I thought it was too complicated. Now admittedly, I have help. I have Membership Academy, which I thought about quitting (boy am I glad I didn't) and Ken Gary is in my Mastermind Group and a Genius when it comes to Amember. So my site is functional and moving forward.
I wanted to use Wordpress Revolution in order to use on all of my sites, but it is not easy to work with and the tutorial are impossible to find. But as the LORD would have it, I found this the other night:
http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...customize.html
That was a blessing because I paid about $300 for the developer's version before he (Brian Gardner) ended them for good. So now I am going to have a very good looking membership site with all of bells and whistles.
Pretty exciting stuff.
