I'm Akiba Howard. I have been IN this IM world for a long time. I have spent a lot, and learned a lot, and lost a lot. I imagine you have too.
Well, I'm now at the point where I am NOT trying to reinvent the wheel. And, it's working finally.

Saturday nights on the WF....

A time to sit back and relax. Check out what you may have missed all week. Just enjoy the forum rather than viciously attempting to exploit it.
Sounds harsh, I know, but I can tell you, many people here are doing just that. And I am not mad at them. Money making is what it's all about, and how that gets done, as long as it's ethical, is fine with me.
So today, I got shored up with my reviewers, and ended up with GREAT information from Scotty. You'll hear more about him in another post. But he and I have been going back and forth, just as I had hoped, perfecting this new product of mine.
And the tips he gave me, the questions he asked, were so important to making sure I deliver a GREAT product out of the gate, that I won't be able to thank him enough.
Of course there are the others, who remain silent at this point. And that TOO is good. I appreciate that they are simply settling in at their own pace. It's actually been good because I have been able to send them PM's about the new downloads available.
Then I was signed into my Gmail and that activates my Live chat on site. One of the Warriors stopped by, NOT a reviewer, and we chatted for a while. He gave me a few EXCELLENT tips too, and changed the game a bit again.
This is GREAT! I AM loving this development cycle.
I'm sure there will be a bump or two in the road ahead but for now, things are good. The concept of the product was, I think, the big hurdle. If that was something people could wrap their brains around, then this could work.
Oh! Then, earlier, after writing a post about the use of THIS blog, and it's power, I headed out to Google to search for it doing some reconnaissance.
I found the warriorforum****.com site. HOLY HELL! What a big ole bunch of whiners! Wait, I'm sorry, that is wrong of me, and if they were to ever read this, I'm sure I, like Paul, would become a target of their vitriol. Not me!
Well, actually, I'd be willing to take em on. I have some spirit. Anyhow, I digress...lol.
These folks were just a *itchin and complainin about how unfair the 'forum' was, and how scammy the offers were.
AS I read it, all I could think about was how childish it sounded. Now listen, admittedly, there were things said there that are simply true. Complaints that have merit.
But this is the case everywhere. Even there. In fact, I found it HILARIOUS that my comment I left (yes, I just could not resist) had to be approved before being posted. Huh....
But look, the issue for me was this; they seem to spend a great deal of time talking about a few specific things - moderators, and products.
They're big on how the moderators are unfair and everyone is always 'not letting them talk'.
I know for a fact this occurs, but not in the heinous way described. And I speak (again) from experience.
When in this forum, and let me point out here, A PRIVATELY OWNED FORUM, the moderators can and WILL do as they see fit to keep the 'air' clean. You may not like their decisions, which leaves you the option of leaving and going elsewhere.
(good luck)
But at the core, this is a PRIVATELY owned forum where the OWNER can impose his will to maintain order. As I said in my post there, "in the early days, things were rougher than now, and I promise you, it all made sense and is why the WF is still around".
Bottom line, and I will leave this topic alone, it's much like many other places online, where a person has built something that THEY have the ability to determine usage paramaters.
Get with the program or go.
ok, enough of that. So, it was then, back to a tick tock kind of day. Just watching the clock tick by, checking stats, doing a review of another product (which I must say, I am impressed with so far) and letting the process just happen.
This is SO much different that any other time I have 'made things'. This is fun, and I can't wait to move to phase two.
Alright. Enough for now. Back in a bit...I'm sure.
