Getting website traffic is the most important step in making money online

Getting website traffic is a very important step, if not THE MOST important step in making money online. You need to be able to learn about how to generate traffic to your website if it is going to be a success.
There is no such thing as a traffic tap where you can go and turn it on and get a ton of traffic to your site.
Imagine if it was that easy ! Well, unfortunately, it isn’t.
You can either pay for traffic or generate it free.
Generating it free takes time and effort.
The good news is if you do the right things, you will get traffic. This may be obvious to your or it may not.
The VERY FIRST thing you should do is ensure you have a traffic tracker on your website.
There are plenty of free ones and Google also has one. Statcounter is another good free one. Spend the time loading this onto your site.
This is key to your success as you need to track where your traffic is coming from. Then you can concentrate your efforts in the places you KNOW it is coming from.
Then try some of the free methods to drive traffic to your site. Post comments on blogs, join forums, create backlinks and measure your results.
