OK, I am going to write a bit more about Twitter Traffic as it seems to be a pretty big RASH that has spread across the internet.
Firstly, can you get traffic through Twitter and can you sell something through Twitter? Well yes to both are the answers.
Firstly, let's look at how to get traffic from Twitter.
Like any social bookmarking site, you need to target your potential customers. So, customers that are likely to buy from you.
So, how do you use Twitter to get targeted users? Well, you can do it directly through Google.
You can use this following line of search in Google to find people with specific interests.
site:twitter.com “bio” AND (”topic of interest”)
This allows you to find other people on Twitter with similar interests. Everyone knows that if you are trying to make money online - you need a TARGETED audience. If you don’t then you are simply getting all the ‘tire kickers’……
Secondly, can you sell something through Twitter?
Yes, for sure you can. A good idea is to present your Twitter account in a way that looks like your landing page.
This way it looks seemless and professional and when people click on your profile they are more likely to be impressed and less likely to click elsewhere. So keep your colors, logos and other graphics the same between your Twitter account and your landing page.
