Have you considered starting a home business, and feel like you are ready to seriously begin this year?

You’re not quite sure how to begin, but you are definitely researching for information on starting your own home business.

Most entrepreneurs know developing certain skills will enhance their home business success, such as:

  • Sales
  • Persuasion
  • Personal development

You’ve considered the advantages of having a home business, whether it is multilevel marketing, network marketing, or home based business; all three provide the perfect small business cost, with usually a low start up entry cost ranging from $10.00 to 13,000. Compared to a franchise, this makes a home business very attractive.

Additional benefits to starting a home business are:

  • Tax benefits
  • no employees
  • no insurance cost for employee
  • low overhead
  • flexibility to your lifestyle
  • mobility if you have an internet-based business
  • personal development training as an Entrepreneur
  • meeting many new like-minded people at business and company events

Whether mlm or direct sales, one thing to seriously consider before you start your company is the set up for a funded proposal, and/or marketing.

If you are properly established ahead of time with income flowing in from marketing, or advertising, and you have leads, and lead flow, you will be able to introduce your customers to your product.

It’s really a smart way to do business.

Why? Because…

…. having your funded proposal in place allows you to have money generated for your business expenses (aweber email system setup, godaddy links, LLC and start-up costs paid-for, entry fees for a mlm or direct marketing company, etc);

… having your marketing and internet marketing strategies in place allows you to get the internet training ahead of time because there is a learning curve, implementation and action steps that must take place;

…you won’t be tempted to jump from company to company looking for the next ‘shiny object syndrome’ because you will have the leads for your business ahead of time, instead of having a business and desperately looking for leads.

Be smart—set up first.
