Product Creation
Whether you are new to internet marketing or a seasoned pro with years of online marketing experience under your belt, you have probably already figured out that one of the best ways of running a lucrative online business is to skip right over the expensive process of product creation and launching products that are developed by using products with resell rights (resale rights).
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that eliminating the hassles of product creation will not only save you precious time, but also money! With that being said, if you can find a way to substitute product creation with another effective method that allows you to launch a brandable quality product, then it is inevitable that you will completely eliminate product creation from the equation, right?
Well, many internet marketers and online gurus have already figured this out. The concept is very simple. It’s called “Resell Rights”. Now, you might see “Resell Rights” also spelled as “Resale Rights”, and both terms can be used interchangeably as they essentially carry the exact same meaning. We will define these terms shortly and dig into exactly what they mean to you, but let us first discuss what these terms refer to.
What Are Digital Products?
Resell Rights, for our intents and purposes, refer to digital products or digital goods. What is a digital product? This is a great question and it most certainly deserves a great answer. You know those products that Internet Marketers are selling at marketplaces such as ClickBank, DigiResults, and JVZoo? Some marketers even use PayPal to cut out the middle man. Those are digital products. Of course, when you use a marketplace to sell your digital goods, it comes with its benefits. For example, your product is listed in a huge marketplace where thousands of affiliates are likely to pick it up and sell it through their websites, or blast it to their mailing lists. This can give you a huge advantage, not to mention that your personal sales page receives a backlink each time an affiliate lists your product on his or her personal website.
A digital product can be defined as anything that can be sold electronically, allowing you to download it instantly, either upon purchase, or maybe for signing up for someone’s mailing list. The most common digital product that you will find on the web today is an e-book (electronic book), also commonly spelled ebook. Offering free ebooks is a great way to build a large following online and to build a mailing list, and you will see the tactic used widely by many online gurus as it is a heavily-relied on method to build mailing lists and attract potential customers. I highly recommend that anyone trying to build a large following uses this method of offering free ebooks on their website or blog. You will be surprised at how much traffic you are able to quickly drive in just by offering free ebooks.
Examples of Digital Products
Now that you have a clear understanding of what a digital product is we can move on, and take a look at some examples.

• Ebooks
• WordPress Plug-ins (plugins)
• WordPress Blogs (Niche Blogs)
• Software Programs (Scripts)
• Graphics
• Minisite Templates
• HTML pages or Templates

Those are just a few examples. All of these products have one property in common. This property allows them to be packaged and uploaded to allow users to download them. Yes, they are all digital; hence, the term, “digital product”. So what can we do with these items, these digital products?
What is a Resell Rights License?
Well, this is where licensing all comes into play, and now we revert back to the original topic at hand which happens to be “Resell Rights”. You see, every digital product comes with a license that clearly explains what you can and cannot do with the product. The license is usually in the form of a notepad file, and can be found in your main product folder. It is imperative that you pay close attention to the license included with your product so that you don’t violate the terms.

The license will explain the Resell Rights for the particular product. Resell Rights can be broken down into several, flavors, if you will. These flavors are Basic Resell Rights (BRR), Master Resell Rights (MRR), Private Label Rights (PLR), Personal Use Only (PUO), and Giveaway Rights.

Basic Resell Rights

“Basic Resell Rights” which is also commonly spelled as “Basic Resale Rights” allow you to sell the product to a buyer and keep all of the profit. Basic Resell Rights are also referred to as Normal Resell Rights by many Internet Marketers. Unfortunately, Basic Resale Rights do not afford you the permission required to pass on resell rights to the purchasing party.

Master Resell Rights (MRR)

The most flexible of the licensing terms are “Master Resell Rights”, or “Master Resale Rights”. You may commonly see the acronym “MRR” when dealing with this licensing type. With MRR, you are able to sell the product and keep all of the money. In addition, you are able to pass on the right for your purchasing party to be able to resell the Master Resale Rights with the product.

Private Label Rights (PLR)

“Private Label Rights” allow the purchaser to brand the product as his or her own. For example, you purchase a product with Private Label Rights such as an e-book. You edit that ebook by changing the title of the product, or even making major edits within the product, and then you put your name on it as the author.

Personal Use Only (PUO)

“Personal Use Only” or PUO, means that you may not resell the product. You can only use the product for personal use. For example, if you purchase a song with a PUO license, you may not share the song. You can only download it and use it for personal use.

Giveaway Rights

“Giveaway Rights” afford you permission to give the product away. This means that you do not have to charge your end users. Remember when I told you about that “Free Ebooks” method to build a mailing list, or a large following? Well, this is where Giveaway Rights come into play. Giveaway Rights allow you to offer free ebooks to the public, or whatever the digital product may be.

Where Can I Get Resell Rights Products?

Finding products with Resell Rights is easy. You can find digital products with Resell Rights all over the internet. Finding products with Resell Rights online has never been a problem for Internet Marketers. The most common complaints associated with purchasing Resell Rights products online are that they can get very expensive, and in most cases, they are extremely outdated. For example, websites such as Tradebit allow anybody to become a seller and list Resell Rights products for sale.

Often times, sellers will list old products from 5-10 years ago, and expect you to buy each product individually. In most cases, you will find that these old and outdated products come with PLR (Private Label Rights), and they will cost you at least $2. That may not seem like a lot of money, but if you are purchasing a few of these products per day in hopes of launching a product, it simply adds up.
Furthermore, you will quickly see that when you try to open these outdated products, often times there will be an HTML salespage and the product, an ebook. The ebooks are delivered to you on a PDF file where the author attempts to market his or her other products and get you to their site. Therefore, you will see that the trick they are using is to put the download link on their own site, but the problem with this is that these products are so outdated that often times the site that is supposed to carry this product is expired.

So what happens then? What happens is that you just wasted time and money by buying these old products that no longer exist. Don’t worry! It has happened to me too. I once wasted several hours uploading the salespages of outdated Resell Rights products just to find out that the product page was expired. Now, other than the product download page being expired, here is another huge reason why you should NOT buy outdated products. As I am sure that you are already aware, the Internet moves at an extremely fast pace. Technologies and techniques quickly become outdated. Therefore, any content you find that is a year old, or even older, may already be irrelevant. This is why it is imperative that you do your homework before buying any products with PLR or Resell Rights.

How Much Do PLR and Resell Rights Products Cost?
I already told you that old and outdated PLR and RR products can cost you at least $2, and told you why you should not be buying them. So now let’s discuss the price of newer PLR and RR products. Depending on where you buy these products, you can expect to pay anywhere from $47-$67. That’s not a bad price, right?

If you answered yes, you are wrong! I used to make the same mistakes and spend my money on Private Label Rights and Resale Rights products too. However, after years of being an Internet Marketer, I quickly caught on that finding a Resale Rights Membership site is the way to go.
Let me tell you the main reason. First, you can sign up for a membership absolutely free, and you get the PLR and RR products absolutely free. PLR and RR membership sites such as plrproducts.xyz will not only allow you to sign up and download their entire collection for free, but they also have a product creation team that releases new products weekly and allows you to download them instantly. Many online gurus have already figured this out, and therefore they sign up for memberships and get the products free. This is how they are able to launch so many products at such a fast pace. It is a very profitable method of cashing in on PLR and RR products.
