O.k. so I told you my sob story boo hoo, yada, yada, yada. Right?

Hey it's cool after all you're reading this because you're looking for any money making tips that will move you closer to your goal of financial independence and that's perfectly cool.

So here's something to think about.

Everywhere you turn people are pushing the "Free Traffic" hot button because it attracts customers like bees to honey BUT...

Here is something I've come to understand about the whole "Free Traffic" thing that I was missing for awhile.

It's not FREE.

Sure when you consider the initial setup and structuring of link wheels and other varied linking structures, nothing beats the acquisition of a new lead or sale on an affiliate product better than getting that customer or lead for nothing.

But the truth of the matter is that it takes time to make "Free Traffic" work.

Case in point.

I was recently considering the purchase of a new "Free Traffic" product and as I was reading the sales letter, the product creator kept talking about all of these free traffic methods he was using to get the outrageous numbers he was getting to his site.

There was only one problem with the story...

Despite the constant mentioning of getting free traffic to his site, he also mentioned that he "paid" others to write content and create various linking structures to get that traffic.

As a matter of fact he mentioned that he had hired a small team of "experts" to get this "free" traffic.

The point is that the so-called "free traffic" was really NOT free.

Now I'm not going to bash Free Traffic because I'll be the first one to tell you that it does work and I've created my own system for getting instant visitors to my sites, BUT...

If you don't have more than 3 hours a day to devote to setting up an effective backlinking campaign...

You're going to need to plunk down a few bucks to jumpstart your traffic and earnings.

The key to doing this effectively is to seriously shop around for affordable solutions and put together a monthly advertising budget for your business.

It's important to make sure that the advertising mediums you choose to use are well tailored to your market because you can easily spend a ton of money advertising to the wrong audience and end up with negative results.

So if you're slowly going broke with free traffic than it's time to consider integrating your approach with paid advertising methods to get better and faster results.
