This is my first post on my blog. Let me tell a little of my story. I'm 26 years old, and I'll be 27 this summer. I graduated college in '05 with a degree in exercise science, and I used to be very passionate about soccer. I played my whole life, and then I ended up going into coaching as a career.

A year or two after college was over, I also went into personal training. I started to do very well relative to those around me, but I was being slave-driven working at gold's gym and making them too much money considering the time and energy i was putting out.

I then started my own business teaching 1 on 1 youth soccer lessons, as well as picking up a few of my own clients for personal training. I was pulling close to 1K a week pre-tax on this (for a 25 year old, not so shabby) while working about 20 hours a week at most.

Unfortunately, I injured my ACL playing soccer that november, and I found myself lying incapacitated at home for about a week and a half. I wasn't sure what my future would hold as far as my coaching career for the long term.

Interestingly enough, I got introducted to the concept of internet marketing through "David Deangelo", also known as Eben Pagan, who had a 15 hour seminar called "Get Altitude" that I listened to all the way through while I was recovering from my injury.

I was also introducted to the 30 day challenge that december ('07) but I kept getting bored with it and it was too much looking at small font on google for me to really get anything out of it, so i didn't take it up.

Fast forward a few months, and I made a full recovery. I decided to get out of soccer/personal training and do something else. After a lot of research, I came across the recruting industry, and I ended up working in IT recruitment for a few months. I learned so much from it, but I was making the company about 20 - 25K for each placement I made, and I was about to make my 4th. I decided to leave at that point, because I was going to get a very small piece of that pie and I felt I had it in me to do much better than that on my own.
