Three Elements of Success for Life and Business
Here are three key elements of success that you can apply to your life and your business. Nothing monumental: just good, foundational concepts that will support all of your efforts and goals.
Clarity is the first element. Your purpose must be clear, your goals must be clear and the steps you are going to take to get you there must be very clear. Clarity allows you to prioritize everything you do in your daily life much more effectively so that you focus first on those things that contribute the most value towards goal achievement.
Also, clarity and focus help you to make decisions and commit to action much more confidently.
Competence is the second element of success. A lot of aspiring Internet Marketers try to wing it, fly by the seat of their pants, “fake it ‘til they make it” but you know yourself that the more developed your skills are, the more confident you feel and the more productive you become.
I realize that you do have to start somewhere; it’s okay to move forward with your plans before your skills are fully developed. But do allow time and finances for training and development in the key result areas of your business. Smart business owners factor continuous learning and development into their overall business plan. It will be one of your wisest investments.
The third element is Concentration. This is where you put all of your powers of self-discipline into play and focus exclusively on your most important task for the day until it is completed.
It is easy to get distracted and there are always more exciting tasks to be done, but if you can direct your focus and your efforts first on completing your #1 priority task for the day, you will make faster progress towards your major goals than you ever thought possible. You will also experience a greater sense of control, confidence and happiness.
There is nothing new about these three elements of success, but marketers sometimes tend to forget or overlook them. Due attention given to Clarity, Competence and Concentration can help you to accelerate your progress in everything you desire to do in life and in business.
