If you’re looking for any kind of improvement in your life, stop dreaming, stop wishing, stop sitting there just THINKing about it – get up and DO something.
The biggest obstacle many of us face is indecision. We want change. We want a better life. We have some ideas but we’re afraid to act on them in case it takes us in the wrong direction. That’s human nature. It’s a natural reaction.
However, if we ever want something positive to happen, the time will come when we’ll simply have to get off the fence and start moving. We can’t sit there indefinitely, hoping for perfect circumstances to develop. We’ve got to get moving now, before opportunity passes us by entirely.
Successful people know that in order to be successful, a person has to start from where they are with the skills and resources they have. Additional skills and resources can be picked up along the way; the important thing is to just get started.
For most people, once they start the ball rolling, it quickly picks up speed and gains momentum.
What’s holding you back today? Is there a project you are contemplating or an opportunity you are considering? Are you waiting for circumstances to improve or something better to come along? If so, it could be a long wait.
