The development of the Internetwebthingy and why you benefit from it

I'm 33 years old, which isn't that much, and I have been able to witness the development of the Internet. During my childhood and youth things like Amiga, commodore and the NES were the height of technological development (at least from the point of view of a young boy).
My first real memory of something called the Internet was around 10th grade. We didn't have it at home, mind you, but the school had this magical box that could connect to the world. How wicked was that!
From there on out there was no turning back. Soon you would be able to download a floppy disks worth of errrm...stuff...in less than a day. I suppose it was around that time marketers started noticing the potential of the Internet.
Today we talk about Web 2.0 and I've even heard mention of Web 3.0. All of that is just a silly way of saying the Internet is constantly developing.
10 Years ago social media as we know them today were merely ideas rummaging about in peoples minds. Today they offer huge marketing potential.
Web 2.0 is great for marketing because it allows you to get under the skin of potential customers quicker than ever before. You can reach out to people across the globe in mere miliseconds. Faster even.
With the click of a button someone you'll never meet in a place you might not have heard about can buy your product and get it delivered digitally. As you know, the potential of that cannot be understated.
I just released a new set of Web 2.0 PLR articles at PLR With Passion. The Articles are:
As you can see from the titles some of them are fairly generic whereas some are pretty specific.
I know some PLR providers prefer delivering articles that are 400 words or less. I generally prefer longer articles. The reason I prefer longer articles is they allow me to provide more value. Value is what keeps readers coming back.
This pack of articles is best suited for sites related to IT, online business and social media. I'm not saying you can't get creative and use it for other sites as well.
I always thought articles for blogs and marketing sites about blogs and marketing were a bit silly. I like to think of it as recursive marketing. Nonetheless, there is a huge market. The competition may be fierce, but the opportunity is immense.
