- Register your complete details in the forum. Do not just give your user id alone as it may seems spammy. Do not make that forum your direct sales page. Offer valuable contents and answers to questions in the forum and gain some trust with the forum members. Become a respected member of that forum. Once you have built some trust and rapport with the members there, you can begin to mention your site, following the rules of that particular forum.
- Put a link to your site in your signature, if allowed, in a proper way. This way, you never really have to point it out to the community. They will see your link and curiosity will make them want to click on it.
- Put a link to your home page in your profile page in the forum and when users visit your profile, they’d visit your site too.
