There really needs to be an internet marketing analog to accountancy's GAAP, Generally Accepted Internet Marketing Principles, with some good, clear definitions. Communication's impossible without good definitions. A "safelist" can't be any ol' double opt-in email list, "article marketing" isn't doing whatever the hell you want with 500 words, PPV is not any ad platform that isn't Google, a "Google slap" has nothing to do with sandboxes, deindexing, or keyword density, and that's just stuff that springs to mind from the past few days.
