It seems as though everyone out in internet land is more concerned with what the marketer next to him is doing than what he or she is doing themselves.

Now, this might seem overly opinionated and I might come off as a jerk, but I don't care. Here is my take on the whole thing...

Everyday we see marketer A bitching about Marketer B because he is using email titles and such that they don't like. Guess what? That is how they choose to run their business and they won't do it for long if it doesn't work, right?

Rather than complaining and calling people out, why not do what a smart marketer would do? Sit back and see just how many of those emails that you get. See if they eventually change their titles and go in a different direction. This would be especially beneficial when it comes to the BIG GUYS like Kern, Filsaime, and some others. These guys obviously test the hell out of everything they do. If their open, click, and buy rates decrease, guess what is going to happen? They are going to stop doing it.

You could also go the route of the pissed off, disgruntled, and bitter marketer and simply unsubscribe without seeing what happens.

However, think about it for a minute, as "peons" we have the ability to sit back, relax, and save our money with regards to testing. All we have to do is pay attention and we know what is working and what isn't. After that, it is all just a matter of mimicking what is working in the market place and we get paid, right?

Instead of getting pissed off, try to be rational with these things and let them benefit and profit for you in the long run.
