The busy bug...

So the weekend's finally here and I am lacking in motivation to read some of the new books and articles I found on motivational interviewing, group facilitation, and leadership...

It seems like my weeks go by fast, and my weekends even faster.. Between work, friends, and family - sometimes I feel like a fish with no water... This weekend we're attending a birthday party, building a shed, and taking an old family friend out for his last hunt.. What an amazing man - he's a POW survivor, and has lived such a long, fulfilling life - I could sit and listen to him talk for hours about his experiences. It's sad though to hear him talk about "his last's"... Knowing how strong and determined he has been throughout his life - it just breaks my heart to hear him be so sure about what he will and wil not be doing in the years to come. I guess that kind of clarity comes as we all get older...
