So what exactly does staying focused mean?
If you’re not yet in Empower Network the first thing I want to point out here is the reason I’m writing this post is that I’m part of the Empower Network main facebook group, and as a member of the group I am able to check out the daily assignments from the leaders. And this post is a result of an assignment posted by Dave Wood, assigning me to write a post about staying focused.
So, Staying Focused, what does it mean?
Stay Focused
Well as I expect many have experienced, it’s sometimes very difficult to know exactly what you should be doing in your business on a day to day basis, even an hour to hour basis, and this can become frustrating and focus can get lost, misdirected or even wither to nothing throughout the day.
I have certainly fallen victim to this in the past with different opportunities where the message from above has been confusing. conflicting and often completely off putting.
Working a home business can be a lonely endeavor, creating a feeling of isolation and wonder as to what exactly you are doing.
These are common feelings that everyone experiences and no one can escape on their journey to success. It’s normal!
We have all experienced that feeling of disappointment on having spent money on paid advertising in what we believe will produce a flurry of leads that turn into 15K and Costa Rica Intensive sales, only to experience the inbox in our email accounts looking like it’s frozen or maybe a dribble of leads if your lucky and wondering “what the FLUCK!”.. Or paypaling $100 or more to some strange work-at-home website that looks great but later finding out they have a ranking on Alexa worse that your grannies site (and she doesn’t even have a site!)
Well I’m here to tell everyone that it’s normal, it happens, will continue to happen to the best of us.. it’s called earning your wings on your road to success, to that elusive $15,000 per month… per week….per day!
Think about it. If it were that easy that all you need to do is stick out a few free classified ads on backpage or craigslist and voila! $15K just drops into your e-wallet, then don’t you think every Tom, Dick and Harry would be killing it? Of course, right?
It takes work and it takes dedication and it means you’ll have to experience frustration and pain. That’s just the way it is!
OK enough of the doom and gloom, I just wanted to send a reality check out there to the Wussies that think by buying in its a guaranteed ticket to financial freedom, its not. Effort, belief and focus are needed too!
The Good News Though… David Wood and David Sharpe have created an absolute breath of fresh air with Empower Network. Everything, and I mean everything is here for anyone who has the grit, guts and determination to succeed in this arena.
This is not a joke, it’s not something you can treat as a lottery ticket. It’s a real business and as any real business will tell you, you need to treat it with respect and focus real hard.
I hope I’ve got the message across to anyone who is considering any type of home business but especially here at Empower as this is where my heart and sole is camped out and will stay camped out.
Stay focused, do not lose sight of that fact that all the top earners, all the big hitters did not start out with a silver spoon in their mouths, they did not start out with a mega-list, they started out the same as you and I. The difference or the reason for success has always been an undying belief in the outcome and an rock hard focus on the job in hand.
If you lose focus or it seems confusing what to do next, plug back into the Inner Circle, the 15K Per Month Formula or the Costa Rica Intensive, download it, go for a walk, the gym, meditate, whatever… But do not give in, do not quit, do not get negative, never be a Wussy, and stay focused on the job in hand and you will win.
