MMA Pound for Pound

You must be wondering what is MMA Pound for Pound is all about. For me, I don't really care what the heck is all about, because what I do really care is to look over my SEO skills.
Actually this is about SEO contest which the keyword phrase to compete is "MMA Pound for Pound". This contest will ends on March 18, 2010.
For now, my site still not getting indexed (MMA Pound for Pound - Top 10 Fighter Rankings) for that keyword phrase. I haven't make any SEO on/off page yet. But I will start to boost up everything in a week more.
Currently there are few contestants are already indexed on Google 1st page.

Not doing much for now but just added a new content for MMA Pound for Pound site.

Last time I checked, it was on 9-12th page for this page MMA Pound for Pound - Best Top 10 Fighter Rankings | MMA Pound for Pound.
I think I need some contents on my site, maybe will boost up a bit (SEO On page).

Looking on my competitors, woooots! They've been building kinda large amount of backlinks. While me? Doing it sooooooo slow..... Lots of other projects to be monitored (sigh).

Posted 2nd February 2010 at 03:38 PM by nouseforaname - Ops, like 10 hrs ago... my site dancing while others remain intact.. mmapound.forpound.com dropped to 11th page, and mmapound.forpound.com/mma-pound-for-pound/top-rankings it sitting on 6th page (previously was on 10th-11th page).
What happened?
It could be because I've changed the main page title, submit new sitemap, create more pages, few of meta keywords edited, theme changed (not using the default one anymore), created few backlinks... what else? Ermm... I can't recall, should have note it in the first place.. But the only good I saw, my backlinks amount updated to 1k from 900+.
My competitors getting stronger while me keep on dancing and get discounted... Don't hate my site google....
Going to figure out what had happened... by the way, thanks for reading all these crap :p

mmapound.forpound.com spotted on 7th page of Google while mmapound.forpound.com/mma-pound-for-pound/top-rankings losing it's ranking dropped to 11th page. Just like they both swapped each other.
What's next? Stay tuned

I noticed Google spiders are really loves this site even if it is not ranking well, it fast to get indexed everytime I made a new post, hitting the publish button like forcing the bots to index it (I know WP has a pinging mode, but that wasn't happening before like nowadays for mmapound.forpound.com), Thank God!Posted 4th February 2010 at 06:19 PM by nouseforaname - Yikes!!!
Good news here (really? maybe...), mmapound.forpound is now sits #7th on Google's first page for the MMA Pound for Pound term. OMG, thank God! I hope it will improve its ranking in next few days and stay put at #1 ranking.
FYI, this is the best ranking I had so far for this site, 2nd best ranking was on #10th while 3rd was on #11th.
Recently I added MMA Pound for Pound Revealed | MMA Pound for Pound on my site.
Maybe Big G loves that article even with sooo broken grammars there.
