How to do Own Reputation Management

There are plenty of reputation management companies out there that will remove anything on the internet that can tarnish your reputation. You most definitely need to hire one if you are about to go public on something you are doing.

However, you need to take some initiative in making sure your reputation is clean as well. There are some steps you can take in order to do that:

1. Do a Google search on your name and see if anything negative about you comes up.

Keeping up with the Reputation Management Can be Difficult

Actually not at all. If you keep a professional and friendly online presence, that in itself will help your reputation.

Even if there are some negative things written about you floating around out there. However, it is best to not take a chance on having that around anyway.

Just as it is important to take care of your own reputation management, you need to have a professional help you out with it as well.

I don't post enough on this thing.

I have this thing I do where I post on my main blog (http://www.darklock.com/) every Wednesday. But my server is being migrated to a new bigger and better VPS this week by my supremely awesome host (Bolt Web Hosting and yes that is an affiliate link), so I'm being cagey about messing with things until the DNS propagates and I know everyone's looking at the same server.

And I keep meaning to post more here on my WaFo blog, so I figured I'd come post something here instead of on my main...

I am a Chemical Process Engineer that went on the Computer Science path.

If your like most people your wondering what Royalty Free, is, you might be thinking, is this something about the Queen of England, or is this about the Royal Marriage, no, it has nothing to do with what the name suggests, except that royalty free, means, that once you pay a set fee, you do not have to pay a continuing fee to use that digital product again.

Back in the old days, every time a song was played, a royalty would need to be paid, to the copyright holder, or the music company...
