How I wish I had a crystal ball for my Internet Marketing business.

Lately I have been doing so much promoting for driving traffic to my blog it’s unreal!

It might even be considered madness, if I had not been tracking what I have been doing.

Mostly I have been using free blog traffic methods to get more traffic to my blog.

As I try to drive more traffic to my blog it’s often hard to keep pushing myself without knowing what the results...

OK, I tried to run before I walked. I put together what I still consider an excellent offering, started article writing, video making and all but made several big show stopping mistakes.

The mistakes?

1) No list to begin with. Since I had nobody to announce this to right away and was relying on free traffic alone, without offering anything of value for free to get people on my list, I got pitiful results.

Problem Fix 1: Build a list first before launching...

The book “As A Man Thinketh” by James Allen contains the statement:

Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: —
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:
Environment is but his looking-glass.

I love those last words, “Environment is but his looking-glass”....

Well I would have to say that 2009 was horrible for me regarding my offline business. I have been operating a special event/entertainment business from my home since 1993 with great success. Up until the first quarter 2008 I was grossing in the mid to high 6 figures in annual income...not bad, and I was very proud of myself. But then came the big depression and my offline business went out the window...."flatlined" l do believe!

you absolutely MUST have the right mindset to achieve success. If you don't believe - I mean TRULY BELIEVE that you WILL be successful - you have already failed!!
This is sad but true. You need to listen to every motivational speaker that you have time for. Follow the people that are already a success - understand how they think. You will start to see a pattern in the mindset of successful people in any business....
