I have literally had "tons" of consulting students ask me, "Are offline clients better than online marketing? Which direction should I pursue?"

I always have the same answer for them. Offline clients are much better than online marketing for SOME people. Let me explain that line of thought.

Hopefully this will help clear a lot of confusion about offline marketing, consulting, and online marketing. Having been, and still involved heavily in both markets...

If you have grandiose plans for your product launch, it's never going to get launched.

Write a simple report. It doesn't have to be big, just 10 to 20 pages. Write a quick one-page sales letter for it because... it's only a report, right? Launch it, price it at $7 or $10. This is mainly for college students but anyone can really do it. Here are the top 3 ways to make money while in college.

3. Participate in focus groups or surveys on campus. Just check with a pyshcology department, they usually have some.
2. Sell items you already own on craigslist. I know I sold video games, dvd's and other stuff I didn't use anymore on craigslist. Sometimes it is more worth it to bundle video games or dvd's. I know one time I sold 10 dvd's...
