If you send e-mails to people who have not invited you to do so, you could be breaking the legislation. There's a regulation called the CAN-SPAM Act-- which represents Managing the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and also Advertising and marketing Act of 2003-- that regulates industrial emails.

This law provides people the right to unsubscribe to any e-mails they don't desire. So if somebody asks you to take them off your list, you not only intend to do that considering that...
