State of Confusion

Here I am about two weeks into a promotion for a new site of mine, http://stockoptionsecrets.com As I have an almost zero dollar budget I have to use free advertising methods.
I have mainly been writing articles to submit to the article directories. So far just a few articles have been approved so I am playing a waiting game. Will I get traffic or is this a dud. That is what I am thinking right now.
To make matters worse I have seen the 30 day challenge has just started. Do I do that or stick with my website promotion?
The reason for my lack of success in the past is never sticking with something long enough to make it work. So I guess the obvious answer is stick with my site, but 30 day challenge material is probably too good to ignore.
Do you ever find yourself in this situation?
