Trying to bring the "professional" back to PLR one piece at a time...
My 1st WSO...Lessons Learned
Posted 3rd October 2011 at 08:30 AM by robyna
I launched my first WSO over the weekend. I was nervous, but ready to make the leap. No matter how well it did, I was ready to start testing and see what worked and what didn't.
The thing about testing is sometimes the test comes up less than you hoped. This particular WSO didn't meet the goals I had for it. But I don't consider it a failure one bit. It was my first one and I had a high goal set for it. If you don't set a high goal, you'll never achieve anything.
Here's what I learned.
1.) WSO's aren't as easy as many make them out to be. I'm up for the challenge.
2.) Timing is everything. I launched a Halloween PLR WSO on October 1. I had hoped to capture some who were looking for some last minute content for their Halloween sites. This might not have been the best game plan. Again, not a bad thing. Just a lesson learned. It also could pick up at some point. Never, ever lose faith in your business efforts.
3.) Testing is valuable. The chance of your first WSO being a knock down success has very slim chances. I knew that.
4.) Marketing is ALL about testing. This is one thing I absolutely love about it.
5.) This week meets me with a much different approach to a new WSO.
6.) Most people would be discouraged by a WSO not meeting their goals. I'm glad I'm to the point in my business where my emotions don't rule my business. I love what I do and know there is ebb and flow to a business. Bring it baby!
