My first Attempt at Flippa

Just a couple of weeks ago I thought I'd try my hand at site flipping. As I spend a lot of time setting up and running listing sites, I thought that would be a good place to start.
I emailed the makers of the theme I use for the listing sites to check that it was ok to sell a site with the theme installed (I have a full business licence). It was, so I registered a new domain Toronto Bed and Breakfast and set up my site.
I took advise from a contact who is an experienced flipper and wrote one of my famous, it-teacher style, handouts on how to run the site.
The bidding reached $85, but my advise was to put a reserve of $100 which meant the site failed to sell.
I could relist it with no reserve, but I've decided to do some back-linking and see if I can get the site to rank on p1 or 2 of Google before relisting it. I hope this will enhance the value of the site.
