The trials and tribulations of an infopreneur who never seems to know enough, or perhaps has insufficient confidence, to get on with the job of actually earning an income.

I thought the hard work was over!

Posted 8th September 2008 at 01:39 PM by SandyDuPlessis (Always a Newbie)

...but I guess it is just beginning. Parenting Network still has a long way to go. I am inclined to describe it as being at the teething stage.

Somehow I need to market the site and still work on improving it. At present, I am writing an eBook which I hope will prove popular and which I would like to use as a viral marketing tool.

The only problem is that what started out as a +- 50 page report is turning into a 200 page manual, consisting of 4 separate parts.

At Last.....

Posted 31st August 2008 at 02:59 AM by SandyDuPlessis (Always a Newbie)

At last my networking site (My Parenting Network) is ready for Beta Members. There is still lots of work to be done, but I have reached the stage where I won't feel embarrassed when parents come to visit.

It has actually taken me almost a year (primarily because of my inexperience) to get the site this far.

I have come close to giving up a number of times, but with lots of encouragement from Warrior friends, I kept going. You know who you are and you know how much I...

Posted 21st August 2008 at 06:12 AM by SandyDuPlessis (Always a Newbie)

The last couple of weeks have been incredibly busy, as I work towards launching my first networking site. I am so excited!

There is still so much to do i.e. Get my shopping cart sorted out (and make sure it actually works); upload e books for sale as well as freebies and lots of articles. So much uploading! At least the videos are all in place.

Updated 12th August 2008 at 04:07 AM by SandyDuPlessis (spelling error)

6 years ago, my husband took up a post in Saudi Arabia. While there, and without realizing or knowing that there was money to be made on the net, I built a freebie site for South Africans having accepted contracts, but not knowing anything about the country and its various rules and regulation.

I thought my site was beautiful - hindsight and experience have shown me that it is dreadful and utterly embarrassing, so I will not provide that link. I never earned a penny from it, but...

Many Thanks

Posted 12th August 2008 at 03:23 AM by SandyDuPlessis (Always a Newbie)

A huge thank you to Allen Says for this new and greatly improved forum. It is awesome! I am still wandering around and finding all the wonderful bits and pieces that are now available to us.

Joining the Warrior Forum was the best thing I have ever done and I have learned so much from the posts of so many people that my mind is awash with information that I don't really know how to use to best advantage.
