The problem with getting any honest Wealthy Affiliate Review is that a lot of them are written by their affiliates themselves. The result is that you get many glowing reviews because they're written by the same peope who are promoting the system!

Wealthy Affiliate have a blogging system that is very strong on SEO so a lot of their members get ranked in Google for these reviews, which gives the reader a very biased opinion.

So is Wealthy Affiliate worth it? We need to dig deeper and find out what's really behind this affiliate system.

Wealthy Affiliate Commission Structure

WA is essentially an affiliate marketing training and blogging platform with varying levels of membership and earning potential.

You can start at the Free Starter level and you get the following commissions when you refer others:

Initial $19 offer, Commission = $4
$49/mth, Commission = $11.25 recurring
$359/year, Commission = $87.50 recurring

If you upgrade to Premium level you get:

Credits: They Set-up their account = $1
Initial $19 offer, Commission = $8
$49/mth, Commission = $23.50 recurring
$359/year, Commission = $175 recurring!

The real question I want answer is this:

Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?

Firstly, as with any business, it takes time to build it up and with Wealthy Affiliate, it is a numbers game. They do provide training on how to get traffic and set up your marketing system but it is essentially a system to promote their own products and memberships.

The problem with any system is that you become a marketing clone to their system and it prevents you from standing out and becoming a real authority in your own right.

When you are promoting the same system as everyone else, you blend into the marketing landscape and become a clone.

Instead, you want to show your individuality, make a name for yourself and stand out from the crowds.

THIS is how you make money online.

Secondly, the Wealthy Affiliate commission structure isn't great as it relies on small monthly recurring commissions of upto $23.50. People tend to drop off and cancel their monthly subscriptions when they're not making any money from it, which is the majority of signups. So you end up losing many of your signups and have to keep getting new recruits into it.

The real money is made with the yearly sign ups which give you $175. But you need to make quite a few of these to even come close to having a good income.

There are other programs that give you a MUCH bigger return on your investment, and they close the big sales for you!

Thirdly, the Wealthy Affiliate training videos can give you a good marketing framework but remember, it is mainly geared to promote their own products.

Also you have to pay recurring membership fees of $49 per month for training that you can get elsewhere for free.

That's why I provide free training on how to set up your personally branded webpages and sales funnels to anyone who buys my recommended products and services.

I do not believe in charging ongoing monthly fees for this information as it should be readily available to help you make money.

When you make money so do I, so it's the best of both worlds A win win for all parties.
