I responded to thread the other day, think it was titled "Sudden Drop In SERPS".

I can't find that post now. So I'm just doing a quick blog post on it, since I think a lot of people might be going backlink crazy when they're site disappears from the front page to #70.

That was what had happened to one of the folks on the forum who were wondering...
