Twitter 101: For Beginners

So, you've finally signed up for your twitter account, and you are probably wondering: what now? How does this work?

I thought I'd write a quick guide to twitter, for the absolute beginner, to lay down some of the basics of this fast paced social platform. This isn't necessarily targeted to marketers, as much as just beginner twitter users.

I have several twitter accounts for various niches.

I use the main one Pearlydean for Internet Marketing and general blogging work.

If you look at this account you will see (at the time of this post) that I have over 22,000 followers.

Now to get this many followers is quite easy if you know what you are doing. Many of these followers interact with me on a regular basis and this makes the communication worthwhile.
