Number of sites: 7
Adsense: $80.57
Amazon: $7.29
My income took a huge leap in September!! The sites that I made in August started getting clicks and one of them is now the site with the highest CTR of all of my sites. Also the first website that I created got at least 1 click/day for all of September.
The breakdown in the income is that a majority of it was from the first site I created with ~$50.00 through Adsense and all of the $7.29 Amazon income. Then the site I mentioned with the high CTR made me ~$11.50 and the rest was split among the other 5 sites.
As stated, I now have 7 sites, meaning that I created 2 more sites this month. I have a goal of trying to manage 10 sites before moving onto any kind of larger scale project. If I can get 10 sites to perform as well as my first website then I can make close to $600/month which would be more than spectacular. If I can get that 10th site up and running before the new year then I predict that I can reach the $500/month benchmark by the time I reach 1 year or internet marketing (May 2012).
In terms of rankings, my first site is moving up with all but one of my terms on first page, the other at #11 on second page. On a side note, when I checked the backlinks of my first site, I saw that there was a large amount of high PR backlinks coming from some do-follow blogs and realized that the manually approve blog comments that I made turned out eventually have a PR boost. Anyways, other notable rankings are that my new health site is ranking #4 for its main keyword with 5400 exact global searches and 2900 exact local searches and ranking #2 right after Youtube. Also, for the 5 sites I had at the end of August, they're all ranking a majority of their keywords on second page.
Again, I left out trying to learn Bookmarking Demon since time was a little limited because of school, but I still plan on implementing BMD into my backlinking method. But what I'm doing so far with a combination of 2 Fiverr gigs at a sites creation and AMR scheduling, my rankings are doing pretty well.
Sadly though, my earnings started to decrease as September neared its end. I averaged $2.69/day for my Adsense income which, compared to August, is more than I could've asked for. New goal: $100/month by the end of November!!
Also, I finally reach over $100 in Adsense and waiting for my cheque!!
