I have a wide range of tips to share with fellow Warriors - from teaching you how to write better (or smarter) to helping you learn how to wield the power of free traffic tactics. I'm big on ethics and I'm not shy about pointing out scumbags on my own blog (since it's against the TOS here).

I have made tens of thousands of dollars on the Warrior Forum alone and I'm always willing to help others learn the ropes if they just ask. I wanted to create my Warrior Forum blog to build an in-house area for questions and answers among marketers, so sound off in my comments area and I'll help you as best as I can and if I can't, I'll find someone who will.

Whenever you're searching for information on a specific product, such as a DLGuard review, you want to hear from actual customers who own the tool so that they can give you a realistic accounting of whether or not it's something worth spending your money on.

You don't want a review from someone who's never owned it, but is just reading what's on the sales page - or worse, the owner himself. This DLGuard review is being given from a customer who paid full price for this digital download protection tool and who can attest to its performance and also fill you in on what would be nice if it were changed.

I first bought DLGuard http://www.downloadguard.info/ back when I launched my very first eBook online. I was so excited - until I found out my download page was posted in a forum for everyone to access and my $47 product was being handed out to the masses for free.

My initial reaction was sheer anger. Who would do that? Don't they realize they're nothing more than a common thief? Just because a product is a digital download, that doesn't mean it should be stolen.

I immediately sought help and was directed to DLGuard as the tool of choice for many of my online marketing friends. At the time, it was expensive to me - $147 for a double install license.

But I quickly realized how much money I'd be saving once I stopped the leak in the forums and torrent sites with a tool that could provide expiring download links, attempted download limits and more.

I forked over the money - it was a one time fee, not a recurring charge, so that made it easier. I paid a little extra to have Sam Stephens, the product owner, install it for me since I didn't want to deal with any technical procedures in my frustrated and frantic state of mind (I was wondering each second how many more people were downloading for free in forums that day).

Then a wave of relief washed over me. My online files were suddenly safe. DLGuard stopped digital download thieves cold. I read the tutorial and looked at screen shots on the site to see how to use the tool and it was very easy.

I run one license for all of my eBook sites and another for a site where I have multiple products that can be put in my virtual shopping cart for easy checkout. Both processes run smoothly each and every time.

I promised that in this DLGuard review - http://www.squidoo.com/dlguard-review - I would be honest about what needs to change. There is one thing I wish was different - and I believe the product owner is working on this already. It's for the tool to allow the processing of affiliate commissions.

I use and like dlguard, I use it to generate sofware license information for customers. It's quick and easy nothing special but works... Customers have their own download page, their own lincense info - you have all features you want to deactive, etc.

It's also linked with aweber, I think it's pro!

Dlguard can do much more though with ebooks and membership site it's very good I like it.
