What is Money?

Why do you and I want Money?
If we had a lot of money and we had no purpose for it, would money be valuable? Obviously not! So, money becomes valuable only if it can give you something that will satisfy you.
Now let's look at what satisfies ordinary guys like you and me. First of all, we need the basic necessities of life: food, clothing and shelter. How do we get these: if we lived on a farm that would be easy: we would cultivate our own vegetables and grow our own animals for meat. If we lived by the ocean, we could fish. These days are gone. We buy our food at the grocery store, our clothing in stores as well; some people insist on wearing brand names only. Then, we need a roof over our heads. We are not on Survivor Island and therefore, we need a proper house that hopefully, we can make into a home. How do we get this house? We need to either buy a plot of land and hire a builder or, we buy a house that is ready to be moved in.
What does Money do?
When we say: buy, purchase; what do these words mean? It means using the medium of exchange that we call Money to acquire something we need or want.
How do we get Money these days?
We are living in difficult times where layoffs happen every day. If we do not have a job, we cannot afford the necessities of life. If we are fortunate to have a job, then we are not making enough money to live our lives the way we want to. Can we do something about it? Whatever the case is, I believe we can. I recently joined Empower Network. I am working on getting leads. And, I understand that if I blog every day, I will eventually start making money. They say it is not a fast and easy job. They will do the same for you if you decide that you want to live a better life. All you need to do is watch this video. This will convince you that you should try this new way of making money.
