Was going through my bookmarks and some of the sites I use...

thought you might find some of these interesting if you're a copywriter.

No, I'm not an affiliate or making money off these...just wanted to pass them along. Some are really useful and some are just fun. Some are free, and some give free trials.

If you've got any sites that help in the biz, let us know.

Check them out:

Anyone doing any research on a subject should check out google scholar. It's a lot of research already done by some leading brainy people. Good tool for researching science-heavy articles and digging into emerging studies. It limits your search to articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.

Need some free to use pics for your work? These are all free to use for commercial uses.

Compfight / A Flickr Search Tool

Writing a blog and need ideas? Check these sites out. Also comes up with some pretty decent headlines.

HubSpot's Blog Topic Generator

Content Idea Generator - Portent

Need to check your sales letter for how well it comes across to the reader?

Hemingway

The Readability Test Tool

Want to sell your own product? Find out what's trending.

Google Trends

Do a lot of cold calling to drum up work?

Call Tracking | Call Tracking Metrics | Call Tracking Software | Call Analytics

Instead of asking for an email on your opt in page, why not ask for a text? I like this one.

Fix Your Funnel

As a copywriter you're no doubt also into marketing. Here's a couple good sites to follow.

Smart Hustle - Chronicling the Smart Hustle of Small Business Entrepreneurs.

Latest Media and Marketing News - Advertising Age

The Hub | Marketing technology blog | News, reviews, tips and tools

Got loads more but thought I'd start with these.

Hope you find something interesting.

LOL I'm having way too much fun with the content generators. I just keep hitting refresh instead of actually writing.

That was definitely not the idea Angie. This tool is for serious
      use only.

Many of these pictured aren't free to use at all. A load of the infographics for instance are Shutterstock (and others) watermarked. Makes me wonder which others are also copyrighted.

If you go to the left of the page when you do a search...you'll see "any license". Click creative commons and you'll have lots of photos.

I imagine the images at the top are simply paid advertising for the site.

Thousands of blogs, etc. use this site.
