Imagine calling up an automotive shop and telling them:

"My car doesn't run. What are your typical rates to repair cars?"

There are too many variables for them to even begin answering this question accurately without more information.

    Same with sales letter rewrites.

Personally, I charge the same for rewrites as I do for completely new work. It takes every bit as much time, energy, and effort to rewrite as it does to write from scratch.

Copywriting fees are all over the board. A solid, professional copywriter with experience and a proven track record will cost $3,000 - $5,000. The high-end copywriter rapidly gets into $10,000 and up. Rock stars can run into the million-dollar range. Many copywriters also want a back-end cut of your sales.

If you have a lower budget, you can find sales letter writers in the under-$2,000 range for one of three reasons:

    - Lack of experience
    - Lack of clients
    - Lack of skill

Only the last one is any real concern, but you can usually figure anyone under $300 or so is missing the skill. Remember, copywriting is all about an ability to ask for and get a higher price from more people. If you're not asking a high price for your own services, how comfortable can you be asking it for a product?

I think this will depend on the job quality and job length required.. its will cost anywhere in between 2000 to 5000 $.. i feel anything below this amount would not be good in quality. Thanks

Great! Thanks for the replys. I especially like the auto repair analogy. I just can't post MY sales letter for rewrite. Too new to post. I'll post it for rewrite very soon.
