drayton bird

Has anyone heard of drayton bird? I got a email to sign up on his commonsensemarketing website and you get a free copy of scientific advertising and a whole bunch of other free stuff. The scientific advertising book(pdf) is old but still stands up today. After reading it i can see where john carlton and the rest got alot of their idea's from.

        I've got some of his articles on my site, too. He also has probably the best direct marketing course currently running... anywhere.

        I'm doing the course - have been on it since last October (2009) - and I've learned more from him than ANYONE else.

        And, from the actual evidence I've seen he is, hands down, the best copywriter around... bar none.

    fx2000, what stands out the most for you in Scientific Advertising? For me it was the importance of testing rather than guessing.
